Join us for a 5.5 to 6 mile walk on the paved paths of Tyler State Park and the immediate neighborhood. (There will be an option to bail out after 2 miles.)

Tyler State Park is on land formerly owned by the sculptor Stella Elkins Tyler. She bequeathed the property and some of her sculptures to the public in 1963. Several of her works are on display just a short walk from the boathouse. In 2017, Sculpture Walk was created to build upon what Stella Elkins Tyler began. On this stroll, we’ll search for over 30 sculptures, several fountains and explore a hidden garden. The path will be mostly flat with one small incline in the beginning on paved paths, streets and manicured lawns. Afterwards, we'll continue on the paved paths in Tyler State Park, taking a path that I haven't done with this group in a couple of years. Expected some small rolling hills.

We'll begin introductions at 8:30am in the Tyler State Park Boathouse Lot. Restrooms available at the boathouse.

Bring along water and dress for the weather. Steady rain cancels - check Meetup by 6am if in doubt.

Remember: If you sign up for this walk and your plans change, you must update your RSVP.
