Eleven photography enthusiasts met at the Princeton University campus on July 25th, 2001 to kick off the first event of the newly formed Bucks County Hiking & Photography Meetup group. On this 5 Year Anniversary, we'll recreate the 5-6 mile "Ivy League Exploration" that launched our group.

The Princeton University Campus is an excellent place for walking, especially on a weekend morning while the students sleep. On this walk we'll explore and photograph the architecture as we wander the Campus.

We'll meet at 9am on Prospect Avenue outside the Prospect Avenue Garage in Princeton NJ. Enter "Prospect Avenue Garage Princeton" in Google Maps. This garage offers free public parking on weekends and is located off Prospect Ave between Murray Place and Olden Street.

This walk will be at a "photographer's pace" with frequent stops at some of the iconic locations on campus. And as always, we will make a pit stop at my favorite coffee shop.

The planned route will take us 5+ miles on mostly flat walkways. There will be some stairs and a few small hills.

Remember to dress for the weather and bring a snack and water.

Steady rain cancels event. Update will be posted in Meetup by 7am the morning of the hike.

If you sign up for this event and your plans change, Please remember to update your RSVP in Meetup.
