CANCELED - Washington Crossing (PA) and Titusville 5 mile loop

CANCELED DUE TO FORECASTED RAIN

This is an easy mostly flat walk along the Delaware Canal, Delaware River and D&R Canal. We'll begin at the Washington Crossing Visitor Center in Pennsylvania and explore some of the historic buildings in the park. We will then cross the bridge into New Jersey, and head north along the Delaware River where we can explore the historic neighborhood of Titusville. From Titusville, we'll hook up with the D&R Canal State Park Trail and head back to Washington Crossing along the canal.

Restrooms may not be available until the midpoint of the walk.

Plenty of opportunities to photograph historic architecture and scenery regardless of your skill or equipment level.

We will start introductions at 9am in the parking lot across River Road from the Washington Crossing Visitor Center in Washington Crossing, PA.

Remember to wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather. Bring water and a snack.

Steady rain or excessive heat cancels event. Update will be posted in Meetup by 6am the day of the event.
