The Premise of the Program
Even though the sales cycle may be shortened because technology handles the front end of the sales cycle, eventually someone will have to talk to the prospect to close the deal or to further qualify it. There are many situations where increasing the top line revenue comes down to more than “clicks” and “likes”. Sometimes customers and prospects need to talk to someone.
Description of the program
The program will consist of a short presentation of 10 minutes to give a few basic concepts of selling. The remainder of the program will consist of Tom Grau role-playing with attendees as they bring real-life sales situations for him to work on. He will demonstrate how to conduct the sales call to move the prospect towards the close. The attendees can also ask questions about how to handle tough sales situations. Here are the main points to be covered:
• Uncovering the prospect’s “compelling reason to buy”
• Qualifying the prospect
• How to close with confidence
Our Speaker
Tom Grau has 25 years of sales experience and over 10 years of training salespeople and non-selling professionals to be more effective at selling their product or service. He teaches a non-traditional, prospect centered, consultative method of selling that is adaptable to any selling situation. He is an engineer by training but has worked with salespeople in virtually every market selling to every level in an organization.
