Super Bowl Saturday Party at the Weyerbacher Emmaus Taproom

The Eagles are back in the Super Bowl so we'll celebrate the day before the big game with a party/pep rally of our own on this day at the Weyerbacher Emmaus Taproom, which is located in the former Funk Brewing Taproom, which was located in the former Yergey Brewing Taproom.

We went to Weyerbacher's brewery in Easton last spring. They expanded into this space in Emmaus not long after that. Funk, now known as Illumination Brewing, moved to their brewery facility around the corner on South 6th Street. I chose Weyerbacher especially for this meetup because they brew the famous Dallas Sucks blonde or golden ale. It will be available in cans at this location. Since we haven't been here since Weyerbacher took it over, now seems like the perfect day.

Weyerbacher pours a good mix of strong dark beers, lighter lagers and ales, and IPAs. Personally, I'm partial to their brown ales and stouts. They also feature meads and hard ciders from the Colony Meadery.

So wear your Eagles gear and get warmed up for the big game on Sunday. Even if you're not an Eagles fan, come for the good times and good vibes. If enough of you commit to attending, we can reserve the private room adjacent to the main taproom (where we were camped out last February at this place when it was Funk's). And if you're more into cocktails than beer, remember this is also the site of Triple Sun Spirits' Emmaus tasting room. There will be a food truck there, which one, I'm not sure yet, but will update as I confirm.
