Emmaus Brewery Doubleheader: Weyerbacher and Illumination
Details
Baseball season may be over but it's getting to be crunch time if you have a Lehigh Valley Brewers Guild passport. So let's play two on this day and visit the Emmaus taprooms of Weyerbacher Brewing and Illumination Brewing, which are right around the corner from each other.
Weyerbacher, founded in 1995, is one of the Lehigh Valley's oldest and most highly-regarded breweries. It opened its Emmaus taproom in Illumination's (AKA/FKA Funk Brewing) old space last year. Illumination Brewing, now the official name of Funk Brewing (though it still says Funk on their cans) now pours its beers at its actual brewery right around the corner on South 6th Street, with 8 taps of beer and the Tre Wood Fired food truck.
We'll get things started at 12:30 at Weyerbacher then head to Funk by 2, 2:30. I'll let you know about any special events, drink specials and food truck as we get closer. And if you're not into beer, the Triple Sun Spirits distillery is co-located in the same building as Weyerbacher.
See you there!
