Holiday Cheer with Wine at Stony Run Winery in Breinigsville

We're heading back to Breinigsville to celebrate the season by sampling some of the most heralded, award-winning wines of the Lehigh Valley at Stony Run Winery. Founded in 2013, Stony Run Winery is now one of the largest estate producers in Pennsylvania with 55 acres of planted grapes.

Stony Run's wines are highly regarded and it is considered one of the top wineries in all of Pennsylvania. At the recent American Wine Society competition, Stony Run took home four medals and 90-point ratings including for its Petit Verdot (2020), Best in Class, 93 points; Albariño (2021), Gold medal, 93 points; Chardonnay Reserve, Silver medal, 90 points; and Flagship red (2019), silver medal, 90 points.

Viognier, Pinot Grigio, Gruner Veltliner, Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Late Harvest Dessert Wine, and Cabernet Franc, are also among Stony Run's most awarded wines. Stony Run pours a wide selection of reds, whites, roses' and sparkling wines, from sweet to dry and everything in between. All wines are estate grown at their winery in Kempton, PA, from seeds imported from vineyards in France, but we'll get to enjoy them at their tasting room in Breinigsville, which has a country club feel to it but is a converted private home.

Stony Run also features cocktails made from Hawk Mountain Distillery liquor.
