This is an initial proposal of ride for next saturday. The ride will be cancelled in case of rain in the same day or heavy rain the night before. I will post updates here.

Mercer park is a technically easy ride with nice flow and not many obstacles, a couple of roots and logs here and there. The idea is to leave from the east picnic area parking lot (PLEASE FOLLOW THE MAP ON THE EVENT DESCRIPTION) and ride the south side of the park until the dam and back. I estimate around 2h ride depending on how many stops we do.

If people still have fuel when arriving from the south trails we can do the north trails, they both start from the east picnic parking lot.

Bring at least 1.5L of water, snacks, tire repair kit and extra tube. Helmets are mandatory. I recomend covering legs and arms because of branches, spikes and ticks, but this is optional. I also recommend insect repelent for the ticks. Pay attention to the parking lot area as there are many lots around Mercer Park.

Alternative: another possible ride is Sourland Mountain, which is quite the oposite, very technical rock garden with steep climbs. We can discuss on the forum which trail to ride.
