We are glad to announce that we are planning an offline event on Wednesday, 16th of February.

Location: Hub55, Budapest, Üllői út 55, 1091

Topic of the evening: Prompt Engineering for Giant Language Models

The sheer size of the latest generation of giant pretrained language models such as GPT-3 and Megatron-Turing makes even their fine-tuning unfeasible in many application scenarios. This led to intensive research into prompt-engineering, that is, methods for optimizing language model prompts for specific downstream tasks. The talk will provide an introduction to the problem and an overview of the most important approaches to solving it on the basis of the paper Liu et al: Pre-train, Prompt, and Predict: A Systematic Survey of Prompting Methods in Natural Language Processing
