   During this short session we will delve into Gleam latest.
   - A short review of the programming language and tooling.
   - How types, modules and functions run highly modular web apps.
   - The power of the BEAM at your fingertips! Easy integration with Erlang and Elixir.

Speaker’s bio: Raúl Chouza
Hey! I'm a programmer from Tijuana Baja California and a fellow peer from the Erlang Solutions Americas Team. I enjoy the nuances of programming, but would like programs to tell you more, especially when they go wrong.
I started with Elixir and BEAM for its self-healing capabilities and continued into a contract programming rabbit hole to define stronger boundaries when architecting Elixir apps.
I was still missing types, so I started tinkering with Gleam which brings the SML style of type safety into the BEAM!
