Terraform Practices - The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly + Simplify EKS Deployment

Details

HashiCorp Terraform is a popular infrastructure as code (IaC) tool that allows users to automate the process of setting up, updating, and managing infrastructure resources. In this talk, Hila Fish will cover the best practices and common pitfalls when using Terraform. The speaker will share their experiences working with Terraform and provide a go-to approach for structuring code and utilising Terraform in a broader context. The goal is to help attendees utilise Terraform effectively and avoid common mistakes.

In the second half, Madhu will demonstrate how to "Simplify EKS Deployment with Terraform: Unlock the Power of Automation." When using Terraform to create an EKS cluster, you can define all the necessary resources, including VPC, subnets, security groups, IAM roles, and more. Once the resources are defined, Terraform automatically provisions and configures the infrastructure to create an EKS cluster that is ready for deployment.
