Language Exchange & Drinks with Native Speakers (English German Spanish & More)

Details
Welcome to the Budapest Language Exchange Meetup. Let's improve our foreign language skills while building new friendships together.
Please grab a drink at the bar and make your way upstairs.
If you have any general comments, questions, or concerns please do not hesitate to send me a PM (Private Message).
- Please come join us to practice English or another language with real people not language teachers. All language levels are welcome.
- Meet with native speakers / expats (US, UK, CA, CN, DE, ES, FR, IT, MX, RU, UA, etc) and locals (HU) in a fun and friendly environment.
- The aim of this event is to help you feel more comfortable communicating in a foreign language when you're out in the real world and of course meet new people and old friends in Budapest at the same time.
Join us to practice a language you are learning and help others learn yours. This is a great opportunity to speak and socialize in: English; Hungarian; French; German; Spanish; Italian; Chinese; Russian; among other languages after work.
Our events are free and will always be free, but kindly RSVP and support the venue by purchasing at least one drink.
📍 How to Find Us
Once you have RSVPed, detailed directions for how to find us will become visible under the “event location”.
- On a computer, this is always visible on right hand side of the page.
- On a mobile device, this is at the top of the page.
- On the mobile app, scroll near the bottom to the section "Location".
Please pay special attention to this section since the exact location in the venue may be subject to change per event due to weather conditions or other factors.
📝 Agenda
To facilitate effective communication I will be providing name tags where you can put your name, native language(s), and most importantly the language(s) you want to practice.
We will split into smaller groups to ensure everyone has the chance to practice the language they desire. Please feel free to hop between the different groups and I will occasionally mix them up as well.
🎟️ RSVP
If you are planning to attend, please RSVP (even if you are a regular attendee). In the event you are unable to participate, please be courteous and update your RSVP to "Not Going".
These simple steps help me to:
- ensure there are enough welcome drinks for select events;
- make certain there is sufficient space to accommodate everyone interested in attending.
⛔ Rules
- Please be respectful to everyone - keep it fun and friendly.
- Anyone acting inappropriately, soliciting, or making others uncomfortable will be removed and and barred from future events.
Please report any inappropriate behavior to John so immediate action may be taken.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and participation.
