We’re going fully hands-on this time, Santa’s Hardware Lab is officially open.
No slides, no theory — only building, soldering, coding, and creating real, moving hardware.
Together with Domokos Kertész (Domi), an embedded systems engineer and hardware prototyper, founder @ Resoloon, we’ll build a moving mini robot car with sensors using Arduino, sensors, 3D-printed parts, and some classic maker-style soldering and wiring.
You’ll assemble it, program it, test it — and watch it move based on your code.
Hosted by Formlabs, you’ll be working at the offices of a leading hardware company, with tools and 3D printers used in their product development process.
Brought to you by IseeQ, continuing our mission to connect the tech community through meaningful, high-quality experiences.
📅 Date & Time: Tuesday, December 9, 2025 – 17:45
📍 Location: Formlabs Office, Budapest, Andrássy út 9, 1061

🧰 What to expect
- Assemble and wire up a small robot vehicle
- Use Arduino to control motors & sensors
- Experiment with behaviours (line following, obstacle sensing, etc.)
- Learn prototyping workflow from someone who builds hardware for a living
- 3D-printed components made on-site at Formlabs
- A true maker-style session with real tools and real outcomes
This is not a beginner coding workshop — basic programming knowledge (C/C++/Python) is recommended so we can keep the pace and make sure everyone gets a real, practical experience.
***
🎯 Who is this for?
Developers, engineers, makers, and tech enthusiasts who
- can code at a basic/intermediate/senior level, and
- want to learn more about hardware, embedded systems, and prototyping.
You don’t need deep electronics knowledge — just curiosity and foundational coding skills.
