Details

Hello everyone,

Silent Book Club is about reading among like-minded people, quietly. If you love reading and are looking for a welcoming community, join us! Grab a coffee/tea and enjoy the company, or even share your reading experiences.

Here is the agenda:

  • 14:00-14:30 – Introductions, sharing what you’re planning to read
  • 14:30-15:30 – Quiet reading hour
  • 15:30-16:30 – Optional discussions

In the optional discussion, there will be the following questions:

  • Did you come across a line or passage that stood out to you?
  • Would you recommend the book to someone else based on what you read today? Why or why not?
  • How does the book connect to the real world or your own experiences?
  • Did the book address any universal or timeless issues?
  • Did you learn anything from the book that you can apply to your life?
  • Are there any characters, events, or ideas you found relatable?
  • Did the book make you question anything about life, society, or yourself?

This week's meetup will be at Cserje Coffee, a recently opened place. We will likely be upstairs:)

Please support our host venue by purchasing a coffee or tea during the meetup. This helps ensure we can continue to use the space for future gatherings.

There might be some background music, so if you’re sensitive to that during reading, feel free to bring headphones.

If you’d like to check out the books read during past meetups, visit our Facebook page:
