Budapest Silent Book Club #85 | English-language Version

Hello everyone,

This week, due to popular demand, we are hosting two groups simultaneously on Margaret Island: an English-language group and a Hungarian-language one.

This event page is for the English-language discussion group.

Silent Book Club is about reading among like-minded people, quietly. If you love reading and are looking for a welcoming community, join us!

IMPORTANT: The optional discussion at the end of the event will be held in English. If you would prefer to join the Hungarian-speaking group, please look for the other event on our page and sign up there.

Location & Meeting Point: This week's meetup will be on the lovely Margaret Island. Our joint meeting point will be at the Musical Fountain. Look for people with books in their hands.

From there, we'll split into our two groups and find comfortable, grassy spots nearby. Just look for a group of people with books!
What to bring:

• Your current book.
• A blanket to sit on.
• Any drinks or snacks you'd like to enjoy.

Here is the agenda:

• 14:00-14:30 – Welcome and introductions. We'll gather at the meeting point before splitting into our English and Hungarian groups.
• 14:30-15:30 – Quiet reading hour.
• 15:30-16:30 – Optional discussions in English.
