Budapest Silent Book Club #95 at MagNet House - Special Reserved Space!
Details
Hello everyone,
Join us for a relaxing afternoon of quiet reading at the Magnet Community House. To ensure we have a comfortable and dedicated spot, we've booked the private Kankalin room. Simply bring your current book, settle in, and enjoy the company of fellow readers.
🗓️ Our Agenda for the Afternoon
- 14:00 - 14:30 | Settle In & Introductions
- Find a comfy spot and briefly share what book you've brought.
- 14:30 - 15:30 | The Quiet Reading Hour
- Dive into your book for an hour of peaceful, uninterrupted reading.
- 15:30 - 16:30 | Social Time & Discussion
- Chat with fellow readers, share your thoughts on what you read, or simply enjoy the company.
📍 Location & What to Bring
- Where to find us: The Kankalin Room at Magnet Community House. Please ask for it at reception when you arrive. I will also post the exact location in the event comments on the day.
- What to bring: Your current book, a cushion for extra comfort (recommended!), and a water bottle or your preferred drink.
- Drinks & Snacks: The on-site café isn't always open, but there is a coffee machine on the 3rd floor that we are welcome to use.
✨ Supporting Our Private Space
Booking our own room allows us to have a guaranteed quiet space without any pressure to buy things. To make this possible, we use a voluntary contribution model.
- Venue Cost: 8250 HUF
- Suggested Contribution: 500 - 1000 HUF per person (this is completely optional and your presence is what matters most!).
- How to Contribute: We'll have a contribution box with a Revolut QR code at the event. Cash is also welcome.
- Transparency: All funds go directly to the venue fee, with any surplus covering Meetup costs. You can view the tracker for our last session here: link
Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, you are welcome. We look forward to a relaxing afternoon of reading with you!
