(July) Monthly Book Club: Perfection by Vincenzo Latronico

Welcome to the Monthly Book Club, the discussion edition of the Budapest Silent Book Club for those who enjoy reading the same book and sharing thoughts together.

This July, we’ll be reading Perfection by Vincenzo Latronico. The novel follows a young, creative expat couple in Berlin chasing an aesthetically flawless, curated life, beautifully capturing the tension between digital illusions, modern ambitions, and the hollow reality of seeking an unattainable ideal.

📖 Note on length: At around 120–140 pages (depending on the edition)

It’s a sharp, contemporary, and deeply relatable story that opens the door to great conversations about identity, consumerism, the modern workplace, and what happens when the "dream life" starts to feel empty.
