About us
Buddha Gate Monastery – Meditation & Mindfulness is a welcoming community for anyone interested in learning meditation, exploring Buddhist teachings, and bringing greater mindfulness and peace into everyday life.
Our group offers opportunities to experience sitting meditation, walking meditation, Dharma talks, and group discussions in a peaceful monastic setting. Programs are suitable for beginners as well as those with an established practice.
Join us if you are curious about meditation or Buddhism, looking for ways to calm the mind and reduce stress, or simply seeking a supportive community for personal and spiritual growth. No prior meditation or Buddhist experience is required, and people of all backgrounds are welcome.
All Dharma classes and events at Buddha Gate Monastery are free of charge and supported by voluntary donations.

Join us at Buddha Gate Monastery for a peaceful evening of guided meditation in a serene monastic setting.
One Incense Meditation is a one-hour guided practice designed to help calm the mind, cultivate mindfulness, and reconnect with the present moment. Whether you are completely new to meditation or have an established practice, you are warmly welcome to join us.
Come as you are, slow down from the busyness of daily life, and enjoy an evening of stillness, reflection, and inner peace.

All levels welcome • No prior experience needed • Drop-ins welcome### Before You Come
- Students should maintain a healthy lifestyle with a sound body and mind.
- Please wear comfortable, modest attire—long or short sleeves with long pants.
- Socks are required in the monastery.
- To maintain the purity and peaceful environment of the monastery, solicitation and business-related activities are prohibited.

All events and classes are free of charge. Buddha Gate Monastery is supported by the generosity of our members and community. Donations are always appreciated and help support the monastery and its programs for the benefit of all.
