2026 Lunar New Year Cultural Showcase -
Drums resound. Lions bring blessings.
On February 22, Fo Guang Shan Temple of Toronto warmly invites the community to celebrate the Year of the Horse at its 2026 Lunar New Year Cultural Showcase.
The program opens with the powerful Twenty-Four Festive Drums and an energetic lion dance. A children’s pipa ensemble, Wellness Dance, and Toy Band bring youthful charm and joyful melodies, while performances of erhu, guzheng, and yangqin highlight the beauty of traditional Chinese music. The graceful Long Fan Dance adds elegance, and the celebration concludes with the Buddha’s Light Toronto Choir offering New Year blessings.
Free admission. All are welcome to join this festive celebration of culture, unity, and new beginnings.
