Rest and rejuvenate through sensory awareness and mindfulness while immersing yourself and deepening your relationship with nature. Forest Bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, which gives you the chance to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with yourself and the natural world. Experience the benefits of slow-paced wandering in nature with a trained forest therapy guide Sock Gee!
š»What to wear and bring
Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes. This is a rain or shine event unless severe weather in the forecast. If it rains, please wear waterproof layers or bring an umbrella. It is highly recommended that you bring a sit pad and a backpack for your possessions to keep your hands free. Tea service will be offered at the end of the program. You are welcome to bring your own mug.

Sock Gee Gan is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association on Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs. A resident of Mississauga who loves to wander and explore in nature, she is eager to share the benefits of Forest Bathing with the community.
