Buddies Toastmasters Club: An International Community for Public Speaking

Buddies is a beginner-friendly club dedicated to help you grow as both a speaker and a leader- no matter where you are located. We pride ourselves on providing a respectful and supportive environment where you can practice and learn the art of public speaking.

Since our foundation in 2016, we have consistently been a President's distinguished club. One of the highest achievement a toastmasters' club can have. A mark of quality and a testament to our professional orientation that we combine with a culture of genuine support.

When attending Buddies you will be provided with:

  • Structured & Fun Learning: Toastmasters is more than just public speaking. It provides a structured environment to develop your public, speaking communication and leadership skills. You will be offered a clear pathway to build your confidence and capabilities.
  • A Diverse Global Community: With members from from all continents, we are a truly intercultural club. You will find a safe and supportive environment where differences are respected.
  • Constructive Feedback: We combine a professional orientation with a culture of genuine support. We will provide you with feedback on your speaking and leadership skills while having a great time together.

What to Expect at a Meeting:

  • Prepared Speeches: Members and guests deliver 5- to 7-minute speeches on various topics.
  • Table Topics: Sharpen your impromptu speaking skills by delivering a 1- to 2-minute speech on a surprise question.
  • Evaluations: Get constructive, helpful feedback to help you grow.
  • Special Events*: We occasionally host workshops or partner with other clubs for joint events.

How to join?
Join us every Saturday at 1:00 PM UTC. Guests are invited to arrive early at 12:50 PM UTC before the meeting starts. Our sessions last for 1.5 hours.
