Venue selected. There is a wheelchair ramp to the building from the parking lot (on the south-east corner of the building). If you foresee any issue or you want to know what it looks like for planning, let me know and I can send you photos or otherwise help to make it work.
This will be the kick-off meeting for the group. Please come with an idea of:
• what you hope to get from the group,
• how you would like to see the group structured,
• how you might like to see meetings structured,
• and thoughts on administrivia such as schedule and venues.
In the interest of reducing waste (and not incurring too much expense on my part), please provide your own drinks and/or snacks.
Please contact me if you require any accommodations or want to make sure the venue has them.
From the group description, for context:
Buffalo has plenty of companies and departments within companies that build web sites, web-based applications, traditional software applications, mobile apps, and other software tools.
This is a venue for developers, designers, UX professionals, copywriters, QA professionals, and so on, to get together to learn from and share with others everything we can about accessibility and inclusiveness.
If we get traction, then we can look forward to regular meet-ups and coordination with similar groups around the region, country, and world.
