Creative Music Group Gathering

Greetings Creative Musicians,

Our February gathering will be on Sunday February 20 from 3pm-5pm at 292 Summer St.

Snacks and tea then jamming….

Bring an instrument, bring a friend! Musicians of all kinds welcome!

$10-15 donation to go towards food and the space.

We’ll also be celebrating Jim’s belated birthday :)

1. ARTA (Association of Regional Theater Artists) of Buffalo is sponsoring a Sound Painting workshop at D’Youville College with Christian Brandjes Monday Feb.9th at 7pm-9pm
Sound Painting was founded by composer Walter Thompson and involves a method of conducted improvisation that’s easy to learn.

The workshop is open to singers, instrumentalists, actors and visual artists. It’s free with a $10 donation. Sound Painting is similar in many ways to what we do - I’ve participated in several of these and they are really fun. Highly recommend.

2. Elise Alaimo long time Creative Music Group participant is giving another fund raiser for her new art space, If Music Be, on Saturday February 26th at 6pm at Rise Coffeehouse.
