Greetings Creative Musicians!
Hope you all have had a great summer!
Can’t wait to get back to some music making, so we’re having our first gathering of the Fall in just a few weeks..
Sunday September 20th 3-5pm
Benten Music Center, 292 Summer St, Buffalo
Tea and snacks at 3pm, music making @3:30, $10-15 donation for food and to the Benten Music Center
Bring an instrument, bring a friend, all levels welcome!
New this Fall -
1. Music for People Weekend Workshop November 13-15!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Another weekend workshop featuring Mary Knysh is coming to Buffalo Friday-Sunday. More info to come!
2. I’ll be starting to do Music for People Musicianship and Leadership trainings in Buffalo starting in October.
This will be for those interested in going deeper into improv and the creative music process and be able to facilitate their own groups.

There’s also a free virtual intro session on Sunday September 27th from 1:00-2:00pm on zoom

The training sessions will happen at Benten Music Center twice a month, for 1.5-2 hours, weekday evenings TBD.
Music for People also offers virtual lessons once a month. Your tuition covers both, plus tuition at certain Music for People weekend workshops.
If you aren’t interested in participating in MLP, but want to attend sessions the fee will be $20 per session.

2. Creative Music Gatherings at UB
Due to my schedule, these fell off last year, but I plan on resurrecting them this year. We will meet once a month on Thursday evenings @7:30. Stay tuned for a complete schedule!
