MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Just a reminder that Music for People is giving a free introductory session on it’s Musicianship and Leadership Program this SUNDAY, September 27th from 1-2pm.

This is highly recommended for those of you in Buffalo Creative Music Group that want to go deeper into your own improvisation and share it with others.

The session is free, but you need to register here: https://musicforpeople.org/events-music-improvisation-workshops/free-musicianship-leadership-program-intro/

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Musicianship and Leadership Program (MLP) is a 3 year training program that trains folks to be able to lead improv groups like ours. There are many applications - families, parties, work gatherings, music and regular classrooms, senior centers, neuro divergent populations, healing circles etc.

There are so many places where music can make a tremendous difference in someone’s life, and help bring people together.

An offshoot of the MLP program is the Musicianship Program, which is also a 3 year program but is catered to those who don’t want to facilitate but want to deepen their own musicianship skills and use them towards a project such as a recording, concert, or performing group.

The first year of MLP and MP is the same, and after they diverge.

I will be offering MLP training sessions here in Buffalo Thursday late afternoon/evenings biweekly starting October 8th at Benten Music Center. These will be similar to our regular gatherings but go deeper with more instruction. Anyone not in the MLP program is welcome to join - sessions are $20 per session.

Stay tuned for more info!
