The Buffalo Lodge Bike Tribe is based out of the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort in Colorado Springs.
Our goals are:
To connect cyclists from all over the world with the incredible cycling opportunities and adventures to be enjoyed in the Pikes Peak Region.
To provide a base camp and haven for cyclists for relaxation and connection to other cycling enthusiasts.
To create a team of ambassadors to promote cycling, our community and the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort.
We are a member and insured through the League of American Cyclists. Your first ride is covered then we ask that you join. It is $25 a year for membership and includes supplemental insurance, a pair of socks or two drink tokens and Happy Hour prices at the Lodge Watering Hole always, $100 off our pool membership and 15% off rooms at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort. Saturday Group Ride: Ride of Silence.
Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, 2 El Paso Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO, USOn Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM, the Ride of Silence will traverse and unite the globe as nothing before it. Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways, and to raise awareness that cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists.
The ride is free and open to all cyclists - road, mountain bike, gravel, trail, recumbent, etc. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Our Colorado Springs ride will begin and end at the Colorado Springs City Hall. All riders must wear helmets and have a working taillight during the ride, and sign a waiver before the ride. We are also looking for a few volunteers for the day of the event.
Location: The ride will begin and end at Colorado Springs City Hall. The schedule of events is:
6:00 pm – Riders begin to arrive and sign waivers.
6:45 pm – Welcoming remarks and the Ride of Silence poem is read.
7:00 pm – Riders depart.
8:00 pm – Riders begin to arrive back at City Hall.
8:30 pm - All riders have returned to City Hall

The ride is 8.5 miles long. We will ride at a speed of 8-10 mph. The max speed is 12 mph, and we will try to keep all the riders together so the lead riders will slow down at the front to avoid stringing out the line.
While the Ride of Silence is free to participate, there are expenses to putting on the event. We invite you to share in the costs via this link:
