Genesee River/Erie Canal

I'm putting this up to gauge interest. Let me know if you'd be interested on a different date, and if there's enough response that way, I'll move it.

This is in the Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, right where the Erie Canal crosses the Genesee River. Genesee Waterways Center has a low dock for launching - no roller launch I think.

We can explore the canal both directions, stop and have lunch, and then go downstream in the river (~2mph) toward the city, past UofR before making our way back upstream to the launch site. I'm open to going upstream instead (toward the airport and RIT)
