Start of season shake down paddle

Have not been out yet. Thursday is looking good weatherwise.
Going out for shake down paddle making sure the old body is working ok.
I don't know water temp in canal but know it's not warm.
Dress appropriately. A change of clothes in water proof bag is good idea.
