Should we bring children into the world, knowing they will suffer?

  • Is it ethical if you know the child will be born into poverty, oppression, or a high-risk environment like an active warzone?
  • Should parents be morally accountable if they choose to conceive in those conditions?

If you could push a button that painlessly ended all human life, preventing all future suffering, would you?

  • Is the prevention of suffering always more important than the creation of happiness?

When is the right time to live, and when is the right time to die?
· Should the elderly be given expensive treatments that won’t extend their lives by much?
· If resources are finite, is refusing to die the moral equivalent of stealing from the young?
· Should euthanasia be an option? An encouraged option? A duty?
What makes life worth living — in general, and for you personally?

  • Does your answer align with your earlier positions, or would you allow exceptions for yourself?
