Informal Coffee
Details
Come join us for lunch at Elm Street Bakery (https://www.elmstreetbakery.com/) in East Aurora and we can chat all things WordPress ...or not, as we see fit. This is an informal gathering to get to know one another and talk shop.
We had five people at Thursday morning’s WP Buffalo coffee Meetup at West Side Bazaar – Charles, Bill, Sandra, Ryan, and Freed - and we covered so many topics!
- Using different page builders
- whether or not to use themes
- eCatholic engagement platform for the Catholic church
- AI coding sites (VS Code, Windsurf Editor, Cursor AI Code Editor, and GitHub Copilot)
- styling headers in WP
- migrating from Shopify vs Woo Commerce
- Bricks Builder
- Elementor improvements including the new wire frame feature
- using AI to pull content from one site to another i.e., a recipe re-post
- short codes in Divi and WP Forms
- auto-filling addresses using WP Forms and Google API
- Google marketing campaigns
- the podcast Marketing O'Clock
- AI context windows and Model Context Protocol
I schedule these events at different venues around WNY so everyone can join if they want (and don't want to drive half an hour first thing on a Thursday). If there's another neighborhood or coffee house you'd like me to plan for, put it in the chat. I'm always up for finding new local coffee places.
