Turning this into a regular touchpoint for the Build Deep Friendships group. The Courthouse Square was the perfect space to gather with coffee/tea/snacks, check in with each other, and meet new members! It will be the last Saturday of every month.

As usual, stop by your favorite coffee shop in the area to get coffee or treats. Then wander over to the Courthouse Square. We'll have a nice big sign and all of the materials for small activities.

Our time at the square will be pretty organic with only a little bit of added structure through the following activities:

**[Activity: Connection through Conversation]**
When you arrive, pick up a little packet of “prompt cards” from me or right by the Meetup sign. These prompts will inspire stories and conversation across a variety of topics that you may have not considered. Your goal throughout the event is to share and listen to responses to these prompts in your conversations with folks.

Feel free to ask people what prompt cards they have. You can share about someone else’s prompt. You can be inspired by a combination of prompts. Be creative. The goal is simply to go one level deeper in your conversations with these new “future friends”.

When a prompt card has been discussed (either by you or someone else), please put it in the “Story Shared” jar. We would like to share a picture of all the topics covered in our collective conversations for future meetup members :)

If you aren’t inspired by or comfortable with any of your prompt cards, feel free to exchange it for a new batch!

At the end of the event, please return all unused cards to a pile **next to** the jar.

**[Activity: Member Book Entry]**
We are creating a small book, where each page is dedicated to one of the members of this group. You will have a chance to start creating your entry for the "Build Deep Friendships Member Book" at this event.
It’s kind of like a Guest Book… except we’re all members here, not just guests :) If you already have an entry, you can find your page and keep adding to it!

On the front, please write your name. Then fill the space with whatever your heart desires. That space is entirely for you! To express. To share. To create. Draw, add stickers, write quotes or lyrics. Color it in. Leave it empty. Just put a little piece of you on it.

On the back, please add any thoughts on…

* What activities you love
* What activities you would love to share with others
* What types of events we could host to help build strong connections with each other
* What has helped nourish and strengthen your friendships in the past
* What we can do when in between events to keep the community tight
* Would you like to host something? If so, what?
* Any thing else that comes to mind :)

Once complete (or complete enough for the day), drop it into the basket with other cards.
