Hike in Portola Valley + Alpine Inn Beer Garden

Another chance to hike, chat, and share a meal with the Build Deep Friendships community. This time we'll be exploring the Enid Pearson-Arastradero Preserve in Portola Valley.

Hike: Meadowlark Trail to the Arastradero Creek Trail
(4.3 mile loop, 600 ft elevation gain)
Dinner: Alpine Inn

Here's what's in store for the day:

• Park at Rossotti's Alpine Inn. Find the Build Deep Friendships sign and crew :)
• As we wait for everyone to find parking, we will have a chance meet & greet. If you haven't had a chance yet to make your entry for the Build Deep Friendships Member Book, we will have all of the supplies (cardstock, markers, stickers, pens, encouragement, etc.) for you to do so. If you already have a page, you can also keep adding to it!
• Once everyone is accounted for, we'll set off on the loop. Everyone will get a little packet of prompt cards to inspire stories and topics of conversation that you may have not considered. Just little reminders to cultivate meaningful connection as you walk alongside each other.
• The loop will bring us back to Alpine Inn. For those that wish to stay, we'll get a nice big outdoor table at the Alpine Inn. It's one of my favorite spots. Gotta try some of the wood-fired pizzas.

What to bring:

• Layers of warm clothing
• Water
• A small snack
• Comfortable shoes
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses / hat
• Your whole self :)
