Details

This session is a live, interactive help desk for members preparing to convert an RC vehicle into an Arduino-controlled (and eventually autonomous) robot.
Rather than formal instruction, this meeting will focus on real-world design reviews and Q&A, helping you make confident decisions before the build series officially begins in February.
We will cover:

  • Reviewing the RC vehicle, battery, and electronics you’ve purchased
  • Understanding the voltage and current capabilities of your vehicle
  • Identifying a motor controller board that fits your specific platform
  • Validating Arduino board choices for your build
  • Answering live questions about parts compatibility and trade-offs

This is the best session to attend if you are still buying parts or want a second opinion before committing.

### What to Bring (Optional)

  • Links or photos of your RC vehicle (or live camera)
  • Battery specifications
  • Motor or motor controller you are considering
  • Any open questions you want answered live

### Important Note

The structured, step-by-step build series begins in February. This session is designed to help you start that series on solid footing.
