About us

With Jacob Coxon’s high profile resignation from Anthropic this month and the Hugging Face cyberattack coordinated by OpenAI agents without the company's knowledge this summer, AI fear and dread is rife. We're all feeling it.

Calls for regulation from several key players is going unheeded.

It's disconcerting, to say the least. A lot of us are feeling fear but we don't have a place to express it, or a way to channel that into action. We are not powerless. There are things we can do.

Anxiety without direction is futile. We're stronger and smarter when we work together.

Goal: We'll work in small groups of 2-3 to talk about what steps we can take in the short term. You'll walk away with several options of things you can implement tomorrow to protect yourself and be more prepared for worst-case AI scenarios.

What it is not: This is not a discussion for discussion's sake kind of group. While we'll spend time talking, the goal is always to work towards real steps people can take.
