In an age where technology increasingly mediates our relationships, genuine friendship, meaningful conversation, and personal growth still happen best face-to-face. Many men are looking for spaces where they can think deeply, speak honestly, and help one another become better husbands, fathers, friends, leaders, and neighbors.

The Build a Bro Workshop is an open community discussion focused on the challenges of modern manhood through the lenses of philosophy, character, and personal growth. Each gathering explores a different topic through thoughtful conversation, shared experience, and mutual respect. Whether you come to contribute or simply to listen, you'll find a welcoming group of people interested in living well and supporting one another.

Hosted as a community service by members of the Masonic fraternity, these discussions take place in the historic Shelburne Falls Masonic Building. While inspired by values long cultivated within Freemasonry, the conversations themselves are open to anyone who shares a commitment to personal growth, healthy community, and raising good men in our society. Freemasonry does not recruit members, and attendance carries no expectation of joining.

Participate Your Way
Whether this is your first visit or your ninth, you're welcome to engage however feels comfortable.

• Join the conversation. Share your experiences, ask questions, and wrestle with meaningful ideas alongside others.
• Simply listen. Many people attend their first meeting just to observe, enjoy the discussion, and get a feel for the group.

There is no expectation beyond showing up with curiosity and respect.

Event Details
Admission: Free. Voluntary donations are appreciated and help us continue offering these community discussions.

Location: Shelburne Falls Masonic Building. A member will greet you at the entrance.

Parking: Free parking is available directly across Main Street from the building.

Dress: There is no dress code for guests. Because the discussion is immediately followed by a regular Masonic meeting, lodge members will typically be wearing jackets or suits.
