What we’re about
The group sets out to find areas of common ground that exists between all cultures within the group and within the ever growing UAE. Also to celebrate and share with others aspects of those cultures that we believe will build better understanding and appreciation amongst us and others. <br>
For over 6 years BCC has organized activities and experiences that have enabled all expats new to this country, the opportunity to meet up and form lasting friendships.
BCC has evolved from an exchange of member experiences and developed into an appreciation of the diverse cultures within the black communities and in the UAE. Our aim, therefore, is to continue to learn and celebrate our cultures and that of the local and expat communities. 'Be Proud! Be You!' is our motto.
It is our hope that our motto will serve as a tool and resource to help its members network, connect, share and support each other as they learn more about themselves and the communities around them. To achieve this, we have developed a series of themes which we hope will interest you. Eg, Cultural events and gatherings, Socializing and clubbing, Film Nights, Book reviews, Eating out/brunch, New 2 Abu Dhabi Explore Tours, Networking, Travel, Health and Well-Being workshops.
