All ages welcomed! Come discover the most cost-effective tool to boost your career and confidence and make new friends in the process!
Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations.
Members learn to improve their public speaking skills through various meeting roles such as chair, table topics, evaluation and speech projects. Boost your confidence and career through the most affordable way to improve a valuable skill, the Toastmasters Competent Communication and Competent Leadership programs.
First time guests are welcome to try the two following roles:
- timer
- quizmaster
Many other roles are available to guests:
- toast
- word
- quote
- grammarian
- joke
- storyteller
- closing thought
Members can take on chair, general evaluator and speech & leadership projects. Completing 10 projects of a manual allows you to get complete a program such as Competent Leader or Competent Communicator which you can add to your résumé.
If it is your first time arrive on campus 15 minutes early to find the location.
