Let’s welcome the return of spring together!
Join us for an evening hike into a rustic backcountry cabin in Gatineau Park to celebrate the Spring Equinox — a beautiful seasonal turning point when day and night are in balance, and the light begins to take over again.
We’ll walk in together in the early evening, arriving to the warm cabin, heated by wood stove. Once inside, we’ll light a few candles, share a potluck meal, and enjoy some relaxed social time in the forest.

Please bring a potluck item to share, as well as your own plate and cutlery (let’s keep this a zero-waste evening). Bring whatever you’d like to drink or share as well.

A Few Notes:

  • We’ll be hitting the trail at 5:00 PM sharp, so please arrive a few minutes early. If you are much later than 5:00, see directions below to find your way to the cabin.
  • Bring a flashlight or headlamp for the hike back.
  • Space is limited to 30 participants — please RSVP to save your spot. If your plans change, update your RSVP as soon as possible so someone else can join.

It will be a simple, heartwarming evening of nature, nourishment, and kindred spirits.

Can’t wait to see you there!
