In this workshop, we’ll explore one of the most overlooked questions in wellbeing:
Do I need to replenish… or do I need to calm down?
By learning to recognize whether your system needs restoration (energy, connection, nourishment) or regulation (soothing, grounding, nervous system support), you can stop guessing and start choosing care that actually helps.
I’ll explore:
- The two core functions of self-care: restoration vs. regulation
- How to recognize what state you're in and what that state actually needs
- Examples of mismatched self-care and why even “good” strategies don’t always work
- Practical tools you can use to support your body and emotions in real time
You’ll leave with a simple framework you can apply immediately and a better understanding of what self-care can actually feel like when it’s working.
