3 Talk Night! TakeShape, StaticBackend & Drop Shipping Website w/ Web Hooks

We will be hosting this meetup virtually on Tues, Nov 23rd at 6 p.m. EST!

Our first talk will be from a member of TakeShape showing the speed and ease of using an API mesh to achieve a consistent content experience for your Jamstack websites.

Our second talk is "StaticBackend: a self-hosted or managed backend API for your web apps" by Dominic St-Pierre (@dominicstpierre). We will cover the components handled by StaticBackend like user management, database, file storage, web socket, server-side function via pre-written small demo web applications that showcase the functionalities of the APIs. We will then see where the product is heading in the following year.

Dominic is a polyglot software engineer. He started my career in 2001 and did the typical line of business applications development until starting a consulting company in 2007. Since that time, Dominic has been building SaaS, writing a book, and consulting on the side to self-fund his startups. He's been a big Go fan since 2014.

Our final talk is "Running a fully automated drop shipping side business with webhooks" with Jamie Barton (@notrab). We will learn how to leverage the Jamstack with APIs to build a fully automated drop shipping business.
