Film Night: The Holy Mountain [ONLINE]

Hello and welcome to our first inaugural film night! We're all on spiritual quests, so to kick things off we've got Alejandro Jodorowsky's esoteric 1973 masterpiece, The Holy Mountain.

Based on Ascent of Mount Carmel by John of the Cross and Mount Analogue by René Daumal (a student of George Gurdjieff), Jodorowsky's psychadelic marvel provides a highly visual, stylistic set of allegories for the timeless journey of spiritual seekers from initiates to masters (in one sense of that term). The Holy Mountain is perhaps the best showcase of the fruits of Jodorowsky's years of study of the Marseille Tarot.
