Our Preliminary Invocation: Inaugural Organising Call 2025! [ONLINE]

Love is the law!

We're assembling a team. The Bune Companions are named for Duke Bune, 26th or 23rd spirit of the Key of Solomon and known for their relatively warm relations with mortals. We're trying to fill a gap that seems to exist in England today. Inspired by the Airedale Valley Moot in West Yorkshire (shoutout @folkmythandmagick on instagram!), we're hoping to help demystify and make more accessible the practice of ceremonial magick, shamanism and the occult in London and the South-east.

All of us are mere seekers; we take what we do seriously and want to learn by doing. We're not aiming to practice occultism recklessly, but to create a space for careful practice, experimentation, research, study and group learning which can make us all more powerful. This applies as much to "safer" practices like visualisation, mantra japa and meditation as it does to invocation and theurgy.

We also want to make it fun, with music, movies, singing (e.g. kirtan), dancing and more being part of our intended events programming. Cultural practices like these form an essential part of real, embodied magickal practice and spirituality. We'll also aim for hands-on skills-based workshops such as High John soap and candlemaking, metal casting and more. As part of seva (selfless service), we'll even try to organise *langar *nights for mutual aid.
