Welcome to BurbSec Galway! We’re a casual, community-driven meetup for anyone interested in cybersecurity, privacy, hacking, and information security in the west of Ireland. Whether you're a seasoned professional, a curious student, or just cyber-curious, you're very welcome here.
Inspired by the BurbSec format (originally started in the US), our Galway chapter is independent and locally run. We may have friends from the USA stop by but this is all Galway! Think of it as a laid-back infosec social: sometimes we might have a formal talk, but there is always the rule of no sales pitches. We aim to be just good conversation over a pint (or a soda) with like-minded people.
