Hello everyone!
I’m Johan, your new host for this wonderful group! I hope you’re all enjoying this vibrant summer season. First, my apologies for not reaching out sooner—time flies when work keeps us busy!
I’d like to extend a warm welcome to all our new members and officially introduce myself to the group. I’m a PR and Marketing professional specializing in event management—essentially, I help transform ideas into unforgettable experiences. I’ve organized several Meetup events in the past and have produced everything from small activations to large-scale productions worldwide.
Now, let’s get to the exciting part: I’m thrilled to announce our next two meetups, designed to accommodate everyone’s locations and schedules:
- This coming Thursday, July 24th – Oakville/Burlington Edition. For those based in or near Oakville/Burlington who can’t make it to Toronto
- This coming Thursday, July 31st – Toronto Edition. Perfect for those in the city or unable to travel to Burlington/Oakville
These gatherings will be relaxed yet purposeful— especially focused on forging meaningful connections among professionals in festivals, trade shows, marketing activations, corporate events, art, entertainment, and music. You’ll find value (and great company!) at these meetups whether you’re:
- A marketing or events professional (or anything related to it)
- An entrepreneur seeking partnerships or showcasing services/products nationally and internationally
- Someone exploring job opportunities
- Or simply looking to expand your network

EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Attire: Business casual/professional attire is required. Please refrain from wearing shorts, athletic wear, or overly casual clothing.
Networking: Business cards are strongly encouraged to maximize networking opportunities.
Admission: Free admission is subject to change; advance registration is highly recommended. The organizers reserve the right to implement an entry fee at their discretion.
Venue: Attendees are responsible for their own food and beverage purchases (minimum one drink purchase required). Admission is strictly 19+ and may be restricted at the venue/organizers' discretion.
Conduct: All guests must conduct themselves professionally. Harassment, disruptive behavior, or intoxication will result in immediate removal without refund.
Liability & Changes: Event details (schedule, location, etc.) may be adjusted without prior notice. Attendees assume full responsibility for their personal belongings. Please drink responsibly. Organizers and venue are not liable for accidents, natural disasters, losses, theft, injuries, damages, or any type incidents, occurring before, during, or after the event.
