What we’re about
A get together to write. 6pm to 9pm Wednesdays at Tommy Douglas Library community room.
We are aiming for at least 1.5 hours quiet writing time with breaks for chatting about writing, or challenges with our story, sharing ways to support our writing and being emotional support Humans for members.
Expected schedule (may be amended as group needs):
6:00 pm - 6:15 pm arrival and chatter
6:15 pm - 7:00 pm Quiet writing
7:00 pm- 7:15 pm break time. Open discussion/sharing
7:15 pm - 7:50 pm Quiet writing
7:50 pm - 8:00 pm Final thoughs abd departing as library closes at 8:00 pm
Rules (to be amended periodically)
- We will NOT be asking for or, share feedback within the group during writing time. If desired, feedback asks may take place between members outside of this time.
- We will be kind and respectful to each other at all times.
- If you are sharing thought during chat break, please be cognizant time and remember others may want to share thoughts before we initiate quiet writing again.
