The Bury St Edmunds Maker Takeover is a FREE day-into-evening event perfect for creative businesses, innovators, tech people, artists and those interested in finding out about leading-edge technologies.

It will introduce new perspectives, tech tools and possibilities through our programme of performances, talks and workshops. Explore the work of extraordinary makers, games designers, builders of custom controllers, virtual reality sculptors alongside artist innovation projects.

As day merges into evening come and check out our VR Gallery in the bar, play some of your favourite retro games and get immersed in eclectic live audio visual performances.

Collusion events are informal, conversational and cutting edge - aimed at showing off the region’s rich talent across art and technology. They are perfect for meeting interesting people, finding new creative & business partners and exchanging ideas: BE in_collusion.

THE PROGRAMME:

2 - 5pm MAKER FAIR, TALKS & WORKSHOPS, and MENTORING SESSIONS

5 - 7pm VR GALLERY, RETRO GAMES + DELICIOUS STREETFOOD

6 - 9pm LIVE AUDIO VISUAL PERFORMANCES
Experience performances from the CLIP sound art collective, digital music producer Loraine James, VJs and exponents of the regional art noise scene.
