About us
This group is for people who enjoy working with their hands and value well-used, well-loved gear. Whether you're into bushcraft, camping, kayaking, or just spending time outside, this is a space to repair, customize, and create the things you take with you on your adventures.
Bring your own project—big or small. That could mean fixing a leaking sleeping pad, patching up a packraft, reinforcing your backpack, sewing extra pockets, or maintaining your gear so it lasts longer. It can also be more creative: sketching in a travel journal, carving, sculpting, or working on portable crafts you enjoy bringing into nature.
The idea is simple: meet up, share skills, exchange ideas, and enjoy the process of making and repairing together. No pressure, no strict structure—just a relaxed environment where practical skills and creativity come together.
All experience levels are welcome. Whether you're learning your first repair or refining your craft, you'll find others who appreciate thoughtful, hands-on work and the stories behind the gear.
This initiative is part of a larger creative and social project — Sketchy Collective. We’re just getting started, experimenting with different formats and ideas, and organizing creative meetups in various settings. If this resonates with you, we’d love for you to join and also follow our social channels to stay in the loop for future events and projects.
