What we’re about

Powered by Bushwick Community Darkroom

Welcome to Bushwick Film Photo Club—a space for anyone curious about the magic of analog photography.

We’re a Brooklyn-based crew centered around Bushwick Community Darkroom, and this group exists to bring people together who want to shoot, print, experiment, and learn—without needing a fancy camera or an art school degree.
Whether you’re:

  • Shooting your first roll of 35mm
  • Deep in the alt process rabbit hole
  • Or just looking for creative, camera-friendly things to do in real life—

You’re welcome here.

### What we do:

📸 Workshops & Demos
Learn to develop black-and-white film, print in the darkroom, experiment with beer-based chemistry, or make prints using instant coffee. Yes, really.
👟 Photowalks & Field Trips
We wander around Bushwick and beyond together—film, digital, pinhole, whatever. Just show up and shoot.
🎨 Shows, Swaps & Studio Nights
Zine-making, print trades, critique nights, casual hangs with people who get it.
🎉 Special Events
Gallery openings, artist talks, weird community experiments, full moon fixer parties—you never know.

### Who we are:

Bushwick Community Darkroom is a member-supported, artist-run photo lab in Brooklyn offering classes, darkroom access, film developing, and creative community since 2011.
This group is one more way we’re bringing people together around analog process and IRL connection.
