The benefits and positive outcomes (Yang) of DevSecOps adoption have been undisputedly proven to significantly outweigh the required investment in effort and tooling. However, in the hype of excitement, the dark side (Yan) of DevSecOps adoption is generally overlooked, underestimated, and catches us by surprise.
The talk will discuss the top 3 "gotchas" DevSecOps teams experience as they successfully cross over to DevSecOps model adoption. For each "gotcha" we'll discuss and interactively share practical strategies for addressing the new challenges. Join us to learn, commiserate, and contribute!
Bio:
Bella Trenkova is an Agile and DevSecOps Coach and practitioner of over 10 years. In her coaching practice, Bella is tapping on her 25 years of overall IT experience in roles ranging from Software Developer to VP of Development Programs, with a range of functional and leadership roles in between. Her book and certification savvy are paired with host of diverse experiences with multiple Fortune 500 organizations and cabinet-level Federal agencies, leading and supporting enterprise-wide and industry-wide initiatives.
Bella Trenkova is the founder and Principal of Ardigent Consulting – an Agile and DevSecOps enablement services company based in Northern VA.
Bella has a Master’s in Computer Engineering (Technical University, Sofia, Bulgaria), and a series of Agile master-level and technical certifications (ICP-ENT/CAT/ACC/ATF, SPC4, SGP, AWS-SAA/ML, PgMP, PMP, ITIL v.4 Foundations).
