Building Careers in Anthropology Conference

Anthropology's Career Readiness Commission is hosting the "Building Careers in Anthropology" Conference on May 13, 2022 in conjunction with Fordham University. The conference is open to anthropology students (community college to PhD), practitioners, and instructors from any subfield.

The day will consist of plenary sessions and interactive workshops. Students will learn to use their knowledge and skills of anthropology to secure employment. Practitioners will have opportunities to discover new avenues for their careers. Instructors will explore ways of building in aspects of application and practice into teaching their anthropology students. A highlight of the day will be a plenary given by Gillian Tett (The Financial Times) whose talk focuses on "Communicating Anthropology."
